Step 2: Find the Perfect Gel-X Tips
Choose the appropriate nail tips for each finger. Press the tip onto your natural nail, making sure it is aligned with the edge of your nail bed. Make sure the tip covers both stress points. File the baseline of the tips to fit the cuticle if needed. Be gentle and take your time to achieve the perfect shape.
Step 3: Apply Bonder, Primer, & Extend Gel
Apply PH Bonder, Primer, and a thin layer of the extended gel gel to each nail, making sure to cover the entire surface. Cure the gel under a UV or LED lamp according to the manufacturer's instructions. Repeat this step for a second coat of base gel.
Step 4: Etch The Gel-X Tips & Cure
Etching the back of the Gel-X tip to give a better grip. You can use either an file, e-file, or Gel-x Prep. Then Apply some Extend Gel to where you etch the gel-x tip. Then press gently onto your nails. Let the Extend Gel glide through your nails and then cure under a UV/LED Lamp.
Step 6: Clean and moisturize
Remove any excess gel from your skin or cuticles using a clean-up brush dipped in rubbing alcohol. Apply cuticle oil to your nails and massage it in to keep your nails and cuticles hydrated and healthy.
Step 7: Enjoy your Gel-X nails
Lastly, you are ready to polish your nails! Voila! You now have beautiful Gel-X nails that are sure to turn heads. With proper care and maintenance, your Gel-X nails can last up to three weeks. Remember to avoid using your nails as tools and to wear gloves when doing household chores to prolong the life of your nails.
